First reaction: This book wasn't cancelled? I mean, after all its almost been a year since the last issue. Its difficult to keep abreast of all the stories I read month to month, let alone year to year. This issue, the 3rd in the limited series, finally introduces us to the rub. The band of brigands who intend to sell sensitive secrets to Al Qaeda, none of who are very interesting or sympathetic, discover Al Qaeda already has superpowers. Further, one of their brothers is being held hostage and soon to be executed. After reading this book a lot of the previous two came back to me, but I still didn't care. If it were not for the amazing art in this book it would be practically unreadable. The story lolls about, the characters are crap and three issues in we have our first plot complication. That said, the art is stunning and well paced in the action sequences, the character models are detailed and lush - though many of them have similar appearances and can occasionally be difficult to tell apart.
Story: 2 - Average
Art: 5 - Excellent
