I have been reading comics since about 1992 or so. I remember buying Spawn #6 off the rack at Ingles. It's been a while. I used to love the X-Men something fierce. After a while though, it just got to be a bit too much, and I just gave up. I couldn't bring myself to care about the X-Men at all anymore. I am bloody tired of Overexposederine, and I never did like Cyclops. But hot damn if this book isn't badass. Every issue has been great. It made me care about the X-Men again. I nearly instantly liked Idie as a character. I give a damn what happens. That hasn't happened in years. Scott's cheap shot after the argument strikes me as being from a man who knows he's wrong, and can't let it go. even when the big bad of the issue is bearing down on him and Wolverine. This issue is the crux of what has been hyped, and what is to come. Jason Aaron has been absolutely killing it on this book, and the rotating cast of artists hasn't been distracting like I thought it would be. Alan Davis's art was absolutely phenomenal. Sadly though, none of the post Schism X-Books catch my interest. Ah well. *shrug*
