There could have been a little less word balloons with the X-Men checking on each other’s well beings, but it still made for a nice little adventure to go pick up Cortez.  Not exactly the coolest thing I ever read in my life, or even this week for that matter, but I still managed to make it to the last page without throwing it.  At two times a month? I’m definitely on for the next issue to see if the Wolverine of Claremont’s continuity is really dead or not?  I don’t think that Wolverine will be gone for good though, Claremont would have half as many readers come issue #3.

I kind of liked the artwork even though the colors were just a tad bit cartoon like.  I don’t exactly agree that is 100 percent what the interior of a comic book should look like like the other review says, but I can get down with it.

I’m so glad they finally made an X-Men book for people who used to read X-Men in the late 1980s & early 1990s.  I feel like a kid again.  AND IT’S COMING OUT TWICE A MONTH!!
