Huh?

Kyle.  Yost.  You lost me here.  X-Force is back in our time, and the characters are…umm…what the hell is going on in this issue?  Maybe Yost is just too busy being awesome on Batman to keep Kyle on point for this series, but thiss issue was just bad.  We skip from event to event that are supposed to make you go “oooooooooh”, but some contradict each other, and it’s unclear whether this is because they’re split up in time or if it’s just, um, bad writing.

Choi and Oback’s art is helped by the color pallete on this issue.  It isn’t overly Marvely.  And that’s a good thing.

  1. Dude that sucks.  I’ll buy it course ’cause I’m a sucker for X-titles.  But that’s disappointing to hear.  They really need to reboot this whole thing like DC did with Batman.

  2. Yea, I’m bummed.  I’m one of the few that  actually enjoyed the beginning of this series, but ever since it got wrapped into the Messiah War, it’s seemed forced.  X-forced?

  3. This issue rocked. The art was amazing and story very coherently picked up from where we were before that Messiah complex crap

    Story 4/5 Art 5/5

  4. @peterPanic: So you’re ok with unexplained Frost Giants showing up at Worthington’s, and then him being away on a mission without ever dealing with the Frost Giant problem?
