Apart from the fact that Marco Santucci appears to be using Nicholas Cage as a reference character for Madrox, I really enjoyed this issue.  The relationships between characters, particularly Doom and Layla, Ruby and Madrox, and Darwin and Monet were handled really well.  And I’m VERY curious to see what David has in store for Rictor and Shatterstar.

I like Cortex as the villain in this story, and the last panel throws yet another “you’ll never guess which time-travel themed character we’ve pulled into this story” twist.
