The end of the arc. The plot with Arcade himself seems pretty much superfluous to what really ends up occuring here. I think David realized that he needed a new tack shortly after Messiah Complex and this whole arc was designed solely to provide that new direction. No more Mutant Town, an abandonment of a lot of what was built earlier. Val chases X-Factor down, they get away, but she chases them down again and corners them. They are back to being government stooges - which is how X-Factor started off. Important? I think so.
The cover was hideous. The interior art is fair to good all in all, but it doesn't blow me away. The story itself is good with a lot of tension. A lot of references to the past, hints at the future. This looks like a sign that the series may be getting back on track.
Art: 4 - Very Good
