Overall, this is a a great comic series. There is a solid story/character building arcs .The story is the beginning of a mystery for any one familiar with the comic. Peter works into the story a short introduction to the characters, but with the strength of the series, but it would be better to pick up the trades, for a rich back story. For anyone wanting to jump aboard to collect issue, I would recommend this issue. It will not wow you based on being a character driven comic, if you are new to the series.
The action of Layla will come into question once again, because she knows stuff. As a reader the ending caught me off guard based on the overall tone of the book until the last page, which displays the strength of Peter’s storytelling.

The art work is ok, I never got lost while reading and viewing the panels. The color scheme for the book was good, not over the top, and distinguished itself from being the city vs. the rural in terms of color choices.

Great book!!!

  1. I listed a 3 for the art work, I guess this is still not working, and overlooked some sentence structure. Writing is fun-duh- mental.
