When it comes to X-books, I’m a completist. I have nearly every X trade that’s in print. The various X-Men titles, X-Factor, Excalibur, Extreme X-Men, I even have the spin off stories, like Askanison and the Bishop mini-series. It hate Greg Land’s art, and didn’t enjoy Fraction’s storytelling, but I own every trade from their run(s).

That said, I will not be buying the X-Club trade. I’m glad that whoever it was that demanded the science club get their own book to explore human/robot love and talk about…sigh…nazis…got their venue to do so. But you could have cut this five issue arc into a ten panel aside, and it still would have felt like giving too much space to this idea. Unless some future Morrison writes a meticulously detailed arc akin to Morrison’s 2009ish Batman run, I don’t see this as having any impact on the future of the X-books.
