Dammit! They surprised me again with a really good team-up! Sterling Gates really writes Supergirl with such heart and believability. Stephanie as Batgirl is still taking me a while to get used to, but I like it. And let’s give it up to Jamal Igle, who consistently gives us stunning visuals.

There was excellent action, a lot of funny moments and a good cliffhanger. Sadly, one issue left, but I guess leaving your audience wanting more is the mark of a good storyteller.

    I don’t know if you read Batgirl, but Bryan Q. Miller writes the character much better in that book.  Here she seemed kind of bland.

    This is kind of my first exposure to Stephanie as Batgirl, so if she’s written better somewhere else, that’s even better!
