Well look at me reviewing everything this week, and now its on to Huntress and Power Girl and the new World’s Finest book

This book has 2 things going for it, and for once its NOT Power Girl’s boobs. Theres two strong female characters and some fun superheroing. I’ve been vocal with friends about my hatred of overly-sexualized characters (male and female) in comics and seeing power girl toned down really works and I gotta say I don’t love the new costume, but I like it. But apart form the change of costume the characters are still as fun as ever and the book was overall a fun ride

The art is average to good, I’m a stickler about art and this is too, run of the mill comic book-y for me. Though i am the first to mention that I have a very odd taste in comic book art. Now I hear cries of “BUT GEORGE PEREZ IS AMAZING” well I don’t disagree he’s just not for me, I respect the ehll out of his ability to tell a storu with art but the style itself doesn’t strike me thats all

So In Short: the book was a fun ride and while its still a introductory #1 I enjoyed the ride, don’t know if its going on the pull list, but hell I liked it

Story: 3 - Good
Art: 3 - Good
