Phil Hester mentioned on Worldballoon that his last issue would mention a change in the horizon and that is why I picked up this issue. I had dropped Wonderwoman, three issues into JMS’s run knowing that he jumped off, but I’m glad I read this.

It’s a nice issue that shows Diana bond with his mommy and childhood friends. Then at the end mentions that something is changing and you guys should still buy comics no matter what the numbering. Ok, it didn’t say that.

This books doesn’t have the meta reference like Robinson’s JLA nor is it as bad-ass as Snyder’s Detective Comics end. But it is the end of one era in the life of the coolest lady superhero ever and the one of the few hopes we have of having a comics world where Woman and Men are seen as equals.

Oh yeah, Diana does comment on her new costume too. 🙂
