I’ve waited to respond to this. I read 600 and 601, but I wanted to see if this was going to continue in quality. I had doubts. Straczynski has a spotty record after all. I stopped buying his Superman run due to less funds, and a friend told me about some of the eye rolling moments in 702, but his Wonder Woman is very strong.

No this is not the Wonder Woman we know, she is a different character here, and that’s due to her living on the streets. She’s harder, edgier.

This is something that I’ll stick around for. There’s a sense that this is going to be a story that’ll be remembered years from now, is that good or bad, we’ll see.

So far, so good. Except for the 90’s style costume.

Oh, and how great is Don Kramer’s art? Fantastic.
