  1. I definitely noticed that her face was weird. It bothered me a lot throughout the whole issue.

    I’m less enthusiastic about the narrative direction of this series. Not that there’s anything wrong with it, just that I feel like it’s been done a lot and better and not that long ago – I’m usually not one to knock off huge points for that kind of thing, but this book seems so entrenched in the weird family ties-slash-politics of it that that’s all there is in it. Worse, it just doesn’t feel like a Wonder Woman story, very much…she’s just a character in it who, for some strange reason, fights evil in her bathing suit.
