Okay, I paid $3.99 for pretty much every title on my pull sheet except Amazing Spiderman & Gotham City Sirens.  Everybody knows I’m a really big DC head and all, but this week it seemed like the Marvel books I paid $4 for were actually WORTH that much.  All the DC books that cost $3.99 have a back up story that is supposed to be worth another dollar.  Marvel on the other hand, they just go and and make the story that you are actually buying the damn book to read better and longer.  I wish DC did that instead of packing in some short shitty story about two characters I don’t care about at all: Manhunter and The Question

Now this story in particular wasn’t the most detailed and dialogue driven thing I have ever read, but it’s sweet and gets right down to the point without much continuity confines.  I’m staying for the rest of the arc, but I’m not impressed to the point where I’ll pull it every month without looking at the solicit first, but I don’t really do that for many titles at all.

This issue is well worth $3.99.  The arc so far has been pretty fun and it is not hard to read in issues, the recap in the beginning will probably do you enough justice that you’ll probably won’t even need to read issues #1 and #2 to understand what is happening.  Although, issues #1 and #2 were just as good as this issue, so if you are a big Marvel & Wolverine fan, this is probably recommended reading on your part.

Weapon X #3 is definitely worth reading once, and I’ll probably reread the entire arc again when it’s over too (I do that a lot nowadays).  I didn’t feel like I got ripped off by the price tag on this one either.  It’s $4 well spent, just don’t expect anything industry shaping.

Story: 3 - Good
Art: 4 - Very Good
