I dropped the core Wolverine book sometime ago before it became Dark Wolverine and Wolverine Origins is…well it’s just bad. After hearing such good things about this books first arc The Adamantium Men I decided to give Weapon X a try. Unfortunately what I got was the “Insane in the Brain” arc and the “Wolverine Girlfriend” one-shot, which wasn’t bad but still not what I wanted. Luckily the first issue of Tomorrow Dies Today, the newest arc by Jason Aaron has delivered what I wanted and what I haven’t seen in a very long time, A Great Issue of Wolverine. Most of the issue your treated to Wolverine taking Steve Rogers bar hopping around the world to celebrate his return from the dead, which turns into a great scene between the two, and I’d be lying if I didn’t completely dig Deathlok.  I’m completely unfamiliar with Deathlok and his Terminator-like appearance in the book makes me very happy just thinking of the next issues confrontation between the multiple Deathloks and the Team-Up between Wolverine & Bucky Cap.

Jason Aaron delivered great writing in this issue and completely made me forget about the less then great “Insane in the brain”. The Art by Ron Garney looked great, and if the rest of the arc is as good as this issue I will definitely be staying on this title for some time.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 4 - Very Good
