  1. From what I understand, Fred Van Lente was hired to write a "Wolverine First Class" book, in the same line as XMFC, and he immediately realized that wasn’t going to work (seriously, how do you make a Wolverine solo book for kids?)  So he pitched it as Wolverine and Kitty instead.  I thought this was a fantastic first issue, and I hope it doesn’t get dismissed as a kids’ title.  It’s actually a lot like the main titles from the early 80s, with fewer corsets.

  2. Totally!  It really feels like old school X-Men stuff where they are helping other mutants.  I should make it clear that I love this book!  I just wish the name was different to make it more appropriate.
