I like this miniseries, but I feel like this is the weakest of the War of Kings titles. The problem I have with this book is that the balance between the Darkhawk story and the overall War of Kings story seems to be off balance. I don’t know that in the last issue my opinion if I go and read the whole miniseries will change and I see how both stories balance out, but I just know that I don’t get the same level of excitement or enjoyment as compared to the Nova or Guardian of Galaxy titles. I will have to say that this issue is better than the last with the reveal about how Chris Powell is special. I’m really hoping that the next issue reveals the good light of this slow burn.
