I read this book and felt that it just didn't pop for me.  Overall I felt like this book was very decompressed.

I felt like a few things happened, they are as follows:

-Main character lies about who he is.
-A couple people die on both sides, one of them must either be more drunk then we thought or mentally challenged.
-People fly in cool WWI airplanes.

Whew that took a lot out of me.  Over all I was disappointed by this book.  With something that has Garth Ennis's name on the cover I guess I expect more.  I also expect a whole lot more when I pay 3.99 for a book.  This is what disappointed me most, because when I got the book and finished reading it I know that I paid for 2 things; Ennis's name on the cover and it being a Max title.

I was not a fan of the art in this book.  It was ok and really seemed sketchy to me.  I wish they would get back to using the same artist for the cover and interiors, I've been tricked too much lately due to the different artists since I don't like flipping through a book before buying.  I ruined more then one story just to see who the artist is.

My last thoughts on this book is if you didn't get it, pass.  It's not worth the 3.99 and unless it comes down in price I doubt I will buy the next issue.
