Juan Jose Ryp is a phenom with the pencil. The sole reason I picked up this issue, and he delivered 1,000%. He never slouched on backgrounds and was very creative with the shapes and movements of Sandman throughout the issue. While the story wasn’t all that exciting, Moony and Spidey thwarting the Sandman, this issue is just so gorgeous and dynamic in the art department, that is makes the typical heist caper all the more exciting. According to Marvel solicits, I’ll be back next month. I’m on board as long as Ryp is.
