I am a huge fan of Nick Dragotta and enjoy most of Casey;s work. But this number one issue did not work for me. The story was all over the place and there were times I got confused as to who some of the characters were. I am no Albert Einstein, but I am also not a Marvel Zombie, so maybe a Marvel fan would like this issue.

By the way, Magneto is in it for three pages tops.

The art by Dragotta was very good. Casey has done better work in the past (Nixon’s Pals, Officer Downe, Butcher Baker, Godland, Wildcats). But he is not at his best in this issue. Maybe he wrote this after a con party and forgot to take off his sunglasses.
