  1. This issue made me SO HAPPY.  What you and I want from a comic book isn’t always the same, but in this case we’re on exactly the same page.  I loved the contrast of Emma’s characterization with Tony and with Namor (and with Sebastian), and I adored the Kitty and Colossus scene.  And of course the Scott and Logan scene was the highlight of the book for me — I hope we get more of their conversation and/or adventures next issue.

Plus, the plot with the new mutant was very well done, with great visuals for how his powers would work and a nice introduction to his characterization.  Though as a new grad student, I’m concerned that all the emerging mutants are people who focus really intensely on their studies!

  2. I heard everybody who goes into a pop culture studies program develops terrifying powers.

And oh, yeah, I totally forgot the Sebastian part of the story.
