THIS was the best issue of Age Of Ultron so far.

Focused, great pace, and provided a real sense of character.

I had to read a Kang book. I love Kang.

I dropped Uncanny after Issue #1 because it just didn’t grab me. But this was fantastic. I’ll probably have to grab issues 1-7 now.

This version of Kang is VERY dark. More than I can ever remember seeing before. The money shot of Kang’s Trophy Hall was well done. Kang gets to kill all these heroes and villains (and probably multiple tries) because of time travel. Nifty stuff Rick Remender.

I got a kick out of seeing Shocker’s arm bands in the trophy case because I totally dig that character, too. I mean, come on, brown and yellow costume?

The art was generally good, but often lacked sufficient texture for my taste. Case in point is the close up panel showing Havok’s “beard”–literally no inked lines within the beard. All the texture was left to the colorist-not a good choice usually.

This cover, though, is really what got me to buy the book. The coloring is amazing.
