Spoiler: In the Ultimates universe, Wolverine is dead. And while he shows in this issue in flashback form, the star of the book is actually Wolverine’s son, Jimmy. Same powers, same claws, but without the tortured past.

This series introduces us to a mysterious plot involving a shadow organization that is somehow connected to Jimmy’s old man. The art is great, the pacing is brisk, and the flashbacks are a treat for those who miss the deceased Ultimate Wolverine. If you’re a current fan of the Ultimate Comics: X-Men series, this is a Must-Buy book.
