something needs to start happening.
i’ve been fine with the twelve, but each issue has been a little more of a let-down. and it’s not as if the quality has gone downhill – it hasn’t. but the thing is, we’re still just getting to know the characters (at this point, i wish the book was just the six, because twelve seems like too many), and seeing how they’re all handling life in a different time period.
and that WOULD be fine, except the first book raised the odds by showing a murder at the very end, in a sort of “flash forward.” and it was cool! but we haven’t had any more glimpses into the future, any interesting hints as to how the murder is going to play out, anything at all except seeing a bunch of steve rogers-types living out of time.
(and seriously, i know the robot’s going to wake up eventually. stop waving it in front of me to remind me! let me forget about it, and then get surprised!)
i’m nervous, but i might try one more book – the end of this one felt like it could’ve been the end of act i, so to speak. but i need some more motion forward here.

Ha. That should be on JMS’ tombstone.
I’m enjoying the book, but I agree that stuff needs to start happening. I’m finding the robot really creepy, even though it doesn’t really do anytning. Hopefully, something happens in the next issue.
