TRAILBLAZER ONE SHOT

Trailblazer is Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray’s newest original book. It stars a military hero turned hitman who goes into witness protection one hundred and forty years into the past. It’s extremely silly, but a fun idea. That’s pretty much all you need for a one-shot. There are a couple things of note here: A) Palmiotti/Gray clearly love to kill likable characters to the point where survival feels very earned. B) The premise doesn’t make too much sense, but the characters reactions do, so the story works. C) I thought there was definitely a juicy plot idea missed in the book (preventing the future crime from happening from so far in the past). I had a fun time. Sometimes that’s all I ask for.
