Kick Ass #4

3 months late, we now have Kick-Ass #4. Now, how was it.
The intro was just fucking amazing. "This is pepper spray man!" Hilarious. The art was particularly great in this issue, the splash pages and stuff. I absolutely loved Hit-Girl, and all her scenes. What let me down was the middle of the book. While I totally had forgot about that gay "relationship", and while it still made me smile, I tought the book lacked humor, was less funny than the past issues. Also, the locations highlights I found weird, with that strange green typo..hrm. And man! Mark Millar making some publicity for his own comics...in his own comic, that some hardcore ego. But, that I don't care, I love easter eggs. I absolutely loved the ending, with that junkyard scene that I found absolutely hilarious for some wicked reason, especially when the guy's still talking even if half his face is crushed and his eye is hanging out. In final, less humor, awesome art, and an amazing introduction to some fresh new and sadistic characters, just like I love them. Now if the 5th ish could come out in less than 3 months, would be great.
Kick-Ass is my monthly (yeah right) geekgore fix, and this issue particularly delivered. I'm also really happy that this issue introduced some proper villains, or lets say, real trouble.
