The question most people seem to be asking is “Should I buy or read this if I don’t have kids?” My answer would be an unqualified “no.” But if you do have kids, or nieces, nephews, or grandkids, then I say yes. Pick it up and have them read it to you. Don’t read it to THEM, have them read it to you. This is very important, because the only way I’ve been able to enjoy the writing of this comic book is when my kids read it out loud to me. When I read it, to myself or to them, it sounds dumb and feels lame. But when a kid reads the words that the Tiny Titans kids are saying, it’s actually pretty fun. And the art is cute, there’s no denying that. I would still like to see more from the creators. I feel like they should be able to make the crossover to something that the young and old could enjoy almost in equal measure. This is more Brave Little Toaster than Toy Story. But if you enjoy hearing children talk and laugh, this is something you will enjoy vicariously through them.
