Since Jeff Parker and Kev Walker have taken over Thunderbolts it has been nothing but spectacular. You can tell how much fun the both have exploring these characters, as well as how this team of misfits fit in the Marvel Universe. In 150, guest starring the Avengers Prime, three of the Thunderbolts are being evaluated during a mission by the Avengers (Iron Man, Thor, and Capt. Steve). Things go awry and that's where the action begins. It ends with a "death" of one of Thunderbolts but considering how quickly he's become a fan favorite (and how GREAT Kev Walker renders him) I can see him coming back at some point. Parker and Walkers storytelling really shines in the quieter moments at the beginning of the book (Capt. Steve talking to Crossbones) and at the end (Luke Cage's decision to stick with the team.) All in all if you are not picking this up, you are missing the best Avengers related title. Oh…and there is also a lot of back matter on the history of the Thunderbolts as well as a reprinting of the 1st issue.
