I have been reading comics and Thor on and off for a very long time. Though I cannot say I have read every thing that is Thor, what I can say is that this is the very best Thor I have read in a very very long time.

Marvel, this is the way you do a Re-Launch!

I love the way they are working in young Thor, present day Thor and Old Thor into this story line.

Artwork and Storyline are both top notch, if you are not reading this book, shame on you.

The only thing I fear is that this storyline will end (in two more issues) and the magic I feel every time I read this book, will be gone. I hope not as I am loving the way this one is being done.

Part superhero part mythology, great mix!

Pick it up and enjoy!

  1. Great review! I agree that this particular story needs to be longer than the five issues allotted to it. It seems that it has the legs to move well into 2013. Thor God of Thunder is the best of the Marvel Now bunch

  2. I have never been a Thor fan. I was recommended this series and it is damn good. It’s been a pleasant surprise.
