I, like many fans, was worried about where this series would go after the, for want of a better word, epic conclusion to the first arc. I mistakenly thought we were jumping right into the Malekith arc, but instead I was pleased to see that we get one of the beloved “Moment in between” issues, where we see Thor visiting what I assume are his favorite people/places on Midgard. Jason Aaron, who has already proved himself a master of this issue with his run on Wolverine and The X-Men, kills it once again with this issue, This book has my favorite panel of the week, I won’t give anything away, but it’s a very clear jab at the Westboro Baptist Church. I would be lying if I said the issue didn’t hurt from lack of Esad Ribic, but Nic Klein is hardly the worst replacement you could ask for, his character emotions and acting are pretty great, which is perfect for an issue like this which is very light on action.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 4 - Very Good
