Superior Spider-man rolls on in this new issue as we see Doc-Spidey take on a b-list villain who steals for a cause. The story and premise is really engaging and kept me hooked up to the last page. I would have given this a “very good” rating on the story if it weren’t for some inconsistent characterizations through the dialogue. I didn’t like some of the exposition in the early pages either. I felt they were not needed seeing how Ramos already made it clear through the panels that its an underground medical center with some sick people and children in there. I love the mid-story reveal about what Cardiac was stealing and it transitioned smoothely to Doc-Spidey’s reactions. Ramos was solid in these pages and gives me a sort of a madureira feel to it. Good or bad, i liked it will keep on reading until the inevitable switch happens again.
