I gave this series three issues, but I’m disappointed in Greg Rucka here. I absolutely hate the Marco Chechetto art, but I could stick that out if there was a killer story. There isn’t enough going on in each issue to necessitate a story, just one protracted evening slowly unraveling itself through a series of decompressed episodes. The fight with the Vulture lasted like 14 pages, and all they did during their tussle is fly upwards, get stabbed, and drop to earth. The idea of Punisher being a force of nature is great, but this story isn’t about any Punisher character I’m familiar with.
