This is the issue that changes everything. We find Ronnie and Jason having just witnessed the instant death of an entire stadium of people at the hands of a suicide bombing rogue Firestorm. It takes our boys a few panels to come to terms with the fallout and despair has never looked so good. There is only one thing to do for all the people these boys have failed. It all comes down to praying in the mud and I am totally okay with that. This is what a superhero story needs, a turning point that defines the entire career of the hero. All that's left now is for Ronnie and Jason to pick up the pieces and deal with the hand they've been dealt. Unfortunately Pohzar, the Russian Firestorm is going to make matters worse, by attempting to kill the boys and then retract upon learning that they knew Professor Stein. I hope that Van Sciver can keep up the adrenaline and politics in this book, because otherwise it would just be another generic book of super-heroics. Instead we get a literal bomb dropping. Ask me after the next arc if the dust has settled yet, because chances are this book will still be nuclear.
