I don't normally write reviews, but this book single-handedly destroyed the entire continuity of the X-Men.
This book basically places Wolverine in the Xavier role before Xavier by having Wolverine and Sabretooth go around seeking out mutants in order to help them. And, somehow they track down Xavier who had no dream or interest in mutantkind and just wants to be human. It seems like Wolverine convinces Xavier to help mutants.
This essentially negates the whole of the history of the X-Men, especially Wolverine and Xavier.
Just terrible.

I was curious about that. I thought maybe I had missed something about their history. In the movie X-Men: First Class it was Xavier and Magneto who went and recruited Wolverine. And he told them to…well…you know.
But then again it was just a movie and wasn’t sure if that was totally accurate either.
I don’t think you hire Neal Adams to follow continuity in the Marvelverse. You hire him to sell books because he’s a legend. If people didn’t know what they were getting, they should have. Batman Odyssey only just finished. It was batshit crazy and made no sense. But it was Neal Adams and nobody really gave a crap ‘cuz Neal Adams gets to do whatever the hell he wants.
Because he can.
He can’t sell me a new comic he’s on.
His contributions to the industry in the 1960′s and 1970′s were great.
His current stuff …
I really don’t ever bother commenting on stuff but I completely agree with your review.. THe continuity was enough to turn me off the series.. Then the whole mediocre art and the poor writing enter into it and I want nothing to do with this.
