Another stellar issue. The plot distribution in this one was not as smooth as the other issues, but still an incredible amount of fun to read.

What other superlatives can you say about FF’s art? Dynamic layouts that don’t distract from the story…Creates a mood better than anyone since Gene Colan’s Tomb of Dracula.

This is A GREAT series, and if there’s any justice it will become a regular monthly.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 5 - Excellent

  1. “Creates a mood better than anyone since Gene Colan’s Tomb of Dracula.”

    That’s a great comparison!

    • I meant it. TOD, for those that have never read it, was voted Best Series of the Year by comics writers 2 years in a row.

The early issues are a bit cheesy, but by around issues 12 Wolfman hits the mark. Colan’s art and use of shadow is unsurpassed even today. Definite recommended reading.
