Now here is the Bendis I enjoy reading. Starting from when he was ripped apart by She-Hulk in Disassembled, Bendis gets us up to date on The Vision, in preparation for his role in Avengers Vs. X-Men. While, by no stretch of the imagination, a spectacular life changing book, it’s the antithesis to his story in A Vs. X #0. It’s a well crafted story that integrates a lot of back story without feeling like it’s shoving a lot of back story at you. For me, it’s a definitive “Very Good” comic.

Peterson’s characters are linier and more shadowed than I enjoy, and both his Magneto and Captain America faces look like they just got done fighting with Famine, and lost.
