This first part of a 2-part story is a wild ride. No real prior knowledge of the cast of supporting characters is needed to enjoy this story – which helps, since I have no read an issue of Amazing Spider-Man in some time.

There is a good mix of humor and tension in this issue, and at their heart, most classic Spider-Man stories share that same mix.

If you want a light dose of Spider-Man fun and adventure, pick up this and next issue.

  1. A good comic book story. Even though time travel is a lazy idea considering Dan Slott’s talent, he succeeds in creating tension and suspense in this filler episode (admit it, we were all waiting for Ends of the Earth). And as usual, Humberto Ramos does a really nice job, without being the best artist in the industry.
