Going into this final issue of this miniseries, there certainly were a lot of questions about the future of characters and their respective series. DnA’s work on the cosmic side of Marvel has been both epic and fantastic, but I read this issue with some trepidation because its outcome could completely change the future of some of my favorite Marvel books.  As I turned each page and got closer and closer to the end, I had to remind myself that change is good because DnA didn’t pull any punches with this issue, and the outcome will have major ramifications on Marvel’s cosmic universe for years to come.  I don’t want to ruin it for people, but I can safely say that this issue is definitely a gut punch for anyone who’s loved the last few years of cosmic goodness.  Of course, the ending does leave many things possible, including the undoing of the events of the end of this issue, but as of now, I am saddened by the changes that are coming.  I also have to give Marvel props for not blowing this one at all and leaving it a surprise.  I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough as I soaked in every aspect of the story, trying to figure out who would live and who would die.  This issue is expertly written and the art is pretty fantastic.  Definitely a must read for all fans of this side of the Marvel Universe.
