I can’t remember when the last issue came out, but I don’t care.  This issue was completely awesome.  This is high concept, cosmic awesomeness at it’s best.  While this series has been a lot of fun so far, this issue just ups the ante.  The story finds our heroes in the midst of battle with the forces pouring from the fault, and just as all looks lost the Silver Surfer shows up.  Of course, this leads to some badassery along with an amazing 2 page spread featuring some BIG reinforcements.  We also get to spend a little time with the Guardians of the Galaxy as they investigate the Cancerverse with Thanos.  As you would expect, this section is completely awesome and has some great moments as the Guardians joke their way through their roadblocks.  The issue ends on a high note, leaving me wanting more from this awesome cosmic event.  The art, by Miguel Sepulveda, is really nice.  It’s clean and a little cartoony with just enough realism to make it believable.  The coloring is a bit more painterly, but it works for the issue, which results in some really gorgeous splash pages.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 5 - Excellent
