This book is made with the final, 2-page, B&W preview of the next issue. Up to this moment it had been a decent setup issue, with a good amount of catching up for people like me who weren't up to speed on the cosmic side of things recently. Cthulu aliens are invading from another universe. They are aided and abetted by evil, alternate universe versions of Marvel heroes, including some very nicely designed versions of the Avengers & Defenders. Yada yada, not bad, not great. But I had almost forgotten that the book opens with a mention of the cosmic abstracts coming into play, a nice reference to the Infinity Gauntlet events. Then those preview pages. A armada a space ships, including the Battlestar Galactica & others, flanked by Galactus, a Celestial & some others. Oh, man. My jaw literally dropped. Things just got HUGE.
