Having a great time with this book. I like how the story has evolved to allow personal motive to guide the characters, rather than just "the government's chasing us." Particularly with these last couple of issues, I get the feeling Julie has not only bonded with the suit that used to be Annie's, but some residual form of Annie's being as well. If that is the case then it makes even more sense that Julie would be on the run with Annie's former boyfriend protecting her, and could have even greater implications with where they find themselves next.
Just as nit, I'm wondering if this book reads better as a trade. There was no resolution as to what was in the box from the last issue. The ending to this one seemed abrupt. I was wanting one more page or panel for set up, and all I got was ads. Not that I'd switch to trades now. It's been a fun ride so far, ad I feel like I'd be betraying my commitment to the first seven issues.
