What is it about this book that makes it so compelling? Moore's art is as fantastic as it's always been, giving his characters a sense of realism while maintaining an elegant economy of line. They ACT. You can see the nuances of each emotion flitting across their faces. That, together with the time he's spent flushing out their personalities through dialogue and snippets of their past, allows us to truly connect with them on a personal level, reaching a depth on par with Strangers In Paradise.
Unlike Strangers, the story is firmly entrenched in a corporate science conspiracy, with a palpable sense of urgency. In this particular issue, we're given a sense that things are coming to a head. Dillon addresses the fact that he may not make it out of this alive, HeNRI's cleaning house, and the small glimpses into the Beta Suit come to fruition.
Each issue has been a consistently good read (reading at that 'holy crap, it's over all ready?' pace that The Walking Dead has), and this one is no different. With only a handful more issues to go, I can't wait to see where these characters end up.

Great review. I didn’t write one because I didn’t have a specific reason why I love this comic, I just…I just love it.
This book reads fast for me too.
And by that I mean I can never get enough.
