Enjoyable issue as always. If you’ve stuck withthe the series this long, you shouldn’t be disappointed. Although to get the most out of it you should definitely read the Karai micro issue. Especially if youre found of a certain duo from the 80s cartoon…

The story: An all out gang war is about to come down, with every side gearing up for battle. But the turtles are one man down, and Leonardo is with the Foot (though for how long?). The Turtles are stuck, one man down and needing allies quick.

The art: Mateus Santolouco is a blessing to this series. I was disappointed when he left Dial H, but really I can’t blame him. I wouldve have done the same, it’s the Turtles for pete’s sake. His line work, expressions, action sequences are all great.

If I’m being honest, I’m starting to get alittle bored here. I’ve never read the original City Fall, but I’m pretty familiar with the other stories they’ve done already. I don’t want them to just redo all the stories that we’ve already seen, I’d like some new stuff. Which is probably why I’m enjoying the Villains Micros, new stories I haven’t seen before. You may ask “Why is he complaining if he enjoys the series?”. Well, I am enjoying it. I’d just like them to do some new stuff, new stories. As a life long Turtles fan, I’m always up for the classic stuff done well. Regardless of what kind of stories they tell for the next arc, I’m sure they’ll be top notch.
