Written by one of the original creators we get a fresh take on the Turtles. The new origin story is a great blend of the cartoon and the darker comics. In this issue we see Splinter confronting his old rival, the Shredder for the first time. The pace of this comic was satisfying and splinter's confrontation with the foot clan left me with goosebumps. An issue worthy of my pick of the week.
