SWORD #5

The Luna Brothers bring it once again with this issue of The Sword.  I had a blast reading this issue and was glad to see the way the story played out.  I was afraid we may get mired in some sort of political kind of slant for the next few issues, but the Luna Brothers managed to continue the frantic pace of this book.  I find myself wanting to know more and more about the history of this sword, and I think the book reveals some interesting aspects of the sword’s powers, which could play a big role in later issues.  I’m excited to see where this bad boy is going.  If you can, hunt down the last few issues and give this one a peek.  It’s pretty darn good.

  1. Man this is a great book. It was my first read this week and I was not disapointed. I was talking with the guy at my local store and he thought the end of book 4 sucked because she turned herself in. Who would have thought they could turn that story into what we have now. Luna Brothers Rock. I am going back to all the past Luna brothers books to keep me over till issue 6. I love this book.

  2. Yeah, you make a huge point there.  I felt the same way at the end of the last issue, thinking that now it was going to slow down and we were going to get exposition, an explanation of the sword, etc., but somehow they still found a way to kill a whole mess of people and keep the action going.  So far, this book, is a homerun for me.

  3. Criminally overlooked.  In any Luna Brothers book, you never know where the story is going to lead and you know that no one is safe.  I love this!
