I really liked the opening sequence of this issue.

It had the same feel as those action movies, like Saving Private Ryan, when things are blowing up everywhere and people running everywhere. The quiet chaos was really well done.

As for the second half of the issue, it didn't really do a lot for me. It wasn't just an excuse to get Clark back on earth, but it didn't feel all that much more fleshed out than that.

The interview scene had answers that were obviously vague so the shooter's actual involvement can be revealed to be part of some conspiracy, which will be more than a little cliche if it's all a plan of Zod's.

The art was good, though not great.
