I can already tell just from the prologue of JMS’s Grounded that it’s going to be a somewhat interesting little yarn, too bad I had to get through all that other crap just to get a sample of it.

Out of the first two stories in this issue, I don’t know which one was worse.  I would probably most definitely have to vote for Robinson’s crap, especially since he has been dragging New Krypton along for WAY LONGER then it needed to be, but the Giffen’s junk in the middle wasn’t much better.

DC sure knows of good honest ways to rip readers off by making us pay five dollars to get the beginning of JMS’s much anticipated run by packing in a bunch of other crap in there as well.  Batman #700 wasn’t much better.

I said it once, and it looks like I am going to have to say it again: “I want my five bucks back, DC!!”

Story: 2 - Average
Art: 3 - Good

  1. Oopps, I meant to say Jurgens, not Giffen.  Is there even a Giffen?

  2. I actually thought the Jurgens story was the only good thing in this comic book.
