This was seriously the creepiest book I’ve read in a while. Now that’s not a bad thing at all because it was also amazing. This issue is a mixture of man kind’s fascination with God’s and higher beings. It includes hero worship, deities, and even prayer in the form of sexual mutilation (don’t ask … just read).

In the year of the “Bad Superhero” with “Irredeemable” and “The Mighty” being so awesome, “Supergod” would have to be the most original take on the superheros gone wrong or right … depending on your perspective. I for one am very excited about this arc.
