Loved the ARTWORK. Amazing! Way to go Mahmud Asrar and Dan Green. The story was great, the character is interesting and I look forward to following this into issue #2 and onward. I like Asrar's superman on the last page. My only gripe is that in Action Comics they make it seem like Superman's powers develop very slowly, and have increased over time and exposure to the yellow sun. Makes sense, and I like it. Well 5 minutes on planet and heat/laser vision....... oh....come on. Needs explanation. I like science fiction and feel that the best Sci-Fi defines the rules and then explores that. Well, this needs to be explained away in my opinion. I still give the book a 5, this kinda thing just bugs me though.
