Interesting premise…

A cop disheartened by the police force’s impotence to stop supervillains discovers that these “supers” have all bought their powers on the street.

Next, the cop tracks down the source and gets his own super power….

While I’m no fan of decompressed storytelling (looking at you Bendis), the pacing of this issue didn’t work for me because way too much happened too quickly for me to care or get invested.

The art was problematic for me…it was probably the coloring. The palette just seemed “off.”

A decent read but nothing here felt “special” or particularly exciting. I might give it another shot.
